I think a change was well over due!  Every now and then I need to grow a beard or shave it off...just to change it up once in awhile.  I get bored looking at the same old face in the mirror.  Well...I decided to mess around with iWeb one day and found it to be pretty cool.  I chose to shave off the old gray beard of my old website so to speak, and try something new.  I did my best to merge all the different facets of my Facebook, Myspace, My Blog, and my Hutch Music Website all into one website that I could easily manage...we shall see how that goes!  My track record hasn’t been so good in the past.

Well I hope you enjoy the website as much as I have had designing it.  You’ll find plenty of stuff to help you pass some time...  I just thank you up front for spending it with me.  Think of this new site a the Beta version 1.0.  I’m sure there will be plenty of updating to come in the future...  Until then take care of yourselves and I’ll see you at the beach!

Quote Of The Month...

The Land of Milk and Honey

I wrote this song from the perspective of a husband and wife each struggling in their own way to keep their family afloat in uncertain times.  The husband, a factory worker, struggles to keep his job so he can put food on the table and keep a roof over his family heads.  The wife, a mother, struggles to raise the children in a crazy mixed up world.  Both have become disillusioned by the so called, “American Dream” as they both ask the question, “Where’s this land of milk and honey?  Where’s the promise of a better life?

I find it quite disturbing that so many families today are truly living this song.  Many are dealing with the loss of jobs, foreclosures, corrupt insurance companies, investment firms, and banks.  Many are forced to continue working well into retirement because their investments have become worth next to nothing.

It is truly an unsettling time in which we live...times like these really test the character of an individual.  As the world turns...my hope is that we can work together in order that we all can make it through these hard times.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all. (Picture ††)
